If it becomes clear that a member has joined primarily in order to promote a specific business and is not contributing to the community or is pretending to not be an employee or representative of that business, they will be warned and/or suspended. If you wish to promote your business, please do so through the proper channels. We offer advertising space at a very decent rate. Answering questions in the forum and suggesting that your store or service has a solution to the problem mentioned is also allowed but the promotional aspect should not be foremost in your posts.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, harassing, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where CakesCanada.com is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that CakesCanada.com has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit or suspend or terminate users who we feel are detrimental to the mission of the forum. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither CakesCanada.com nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
CakesCanada.com is a 100ndependent & autonomous entity and is not run, directed, goverened, influenced or beholden to any advertiser, groups or corporations. All funds from ads are used for the maintenance and promotion of CakesCanada.com. If you feel an advertiser or any member has done something inappropriate or out of line please let us know. We really do want to know so we can address any issues and the party in question will not be informed where any complaints came from.
