A friend is looking for a cake similar to this
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl= ... 0%26um%3D1
but in the shape of a 6. No biggie - but it needs to feed 30ppl. Any ideas how to either add something to get more servings or make it large enough to feed 30 with out looking out of proportion (or just plain weird)
Thanks
I'm having inspiration underload.... :nopompom:

cute cake!...maybe if the bottom, round part of the "6" were solid cake...no hole cut out...just do it with the icing design...

I agree - if the bottom round of the 6 is a 9" solid, then you have 25 servings already. Bake a 6" square with it to cut for the top and you should be good to go.
