My first thought would be to band the outer sides first.......and let that sit to dry for a while......


Then do your over-all cover - paint the sides of the banding with water first....then over you go!

Klara told us to do that with extra tall tiers.......your sides technically have two layers of fondant, but it will be straight and smooth!

well I managed to do it all in one go!!! :Dance2: :Dance2: :Dance2:

There are a couple of ugly spots, but the details will cover those!


Now... got to go re-do the stupid 6" tier that tore while I was smoothing! #-o
